Such excitement in our Hub today for our Christmas party!
We met Father Christmas who very kindly gave us some presents.

We demonstrated our best turn taking skills during pass the parcel!

We loved our special V.I.P guest ‘Rory the Tiger’ who came to visit us.

We enjoyed dancing to Christmas music with our families!

We all sat down together and was thankful for all our yummy party food!
We really did have a wonderful time and a very special thank you has to go to Nicol Hairdressing for sponsoring our Christmas party! Thank you for your kindness!
Merry Christmas to all our lovely friends and family!
We looked so handsome today in our Christmas Jumpers!
Thank you to all our Lunchtime staff who made us a yummy Christmas dinner!
We have had a wonderful day!

We have had the best time playing with our large cardboard boxes.
We have used our imagination by making dens, houses, garages, beds, played games e.g. peek-a-boo but most of all we have enjoyed using them as our quiet reading spaces.
We have taken lots of books in to our boxes making our own little personal library.

Peek – a – boo!!!!!!!!

We created our ‘Holiday Cards’ using cupcake cases to simulate winter trees.
We were able to demonstrate good looking and listening skills enabling us to follow instructions and copy one that had been prepared earlier.
We enjoyed sprinkling our trees with glitter but didn’t like it when the glue stuck to our fingers.
Happy Holidays!

We were very creative today making our winter wreaths to decorate our houses.
We loved the sensory feel and noise of the tissue paper.

We have been very kind and generous little Hubbers today, raising money for Children in Need.
We wore our yellow jumpers and enjoyed covering our large Pudsey Bear with all our coins.
We made yellow playdough with Mrs Foston and enjoyed using our imagination making cookies using our rolling pins and special Pudsey Playdough mats.
It was such a lovely sensory experience squeezing the warm playdough through our fingers.

So proud of our little Hubbers today paying their respect during Remembrance Day.
We demonstrated good listening watching a beautiful but very moving animation portraying the story of the War.

We made sensory poppies before placing them on our wreaths to display in our classroom. Our older children painted some poppies. Evan wanted to paint a purple poppy to remember all the horses, dogs and pigeons that lost their lives too.
We explored our senses making some poppy inspired biscuits for our snack. They were delicious.
We had a wonderful time celebrating the festival of Diwali.
We used paint and cotton buds to very carefully decorate our Mendhi hands.

To celebrate the festival of light we used a flickering simulated candle surrounded by sweet treats. We loved eating our sweet treats afterwards.
Blake enjoyed some intensive interaction with Mrs Robinson acting out the story of Rama and Sita, using their small world characters.
To celebrate Bonfire Night, we enjoyed using blow and fringe painting techniques to create our fireworks.
Tim had so much fun squeezing the paint onto his tray before fringe painting.
Some of the fireworks we saw on our video were a little too noisy for us but we enjoyed looking at the colours once the volume was turned off.

Blake appeared to understand the importance of fire safety keeping a safe distance from our cosy Hub fire. Blake repeatedly said “Hot!”
