The children had lots of fun today making Jam sandwiches. They put their own butter on and then waited patiently for the jam. Afterwards they enjoyed eating them . Both the children then helped tidy up.

All the children loved our Friendship Group’.
They all talked about how nice it is to have friends and how important it is to have help each other.
They all managed to turn take and all enjoyed playing together.

Hi everyone
Another lovely week.
Here is this week’s home school diary.
Enjoy your weekend.
We are currently reading Goldilocks and The Three Bears so what better thing to start off our cooking with than porridge. As part of our ‘I Wonder Wednesday’ the children were given clues as to what we might be doing. We all had a good think!
No one knew what the oats were, although Phoebe and Amelia thought they might be seeds.
Gracie guessed that the three, different sized spoons belonged to the 3 Bears.
Some of the children helped to measure out the oats, milk and water, then we decided to put it in the microwave to cook. It changed from being very runny to thick and ‘sticky’.
EVERYONE had a try, which was fabulous! Well done F1.

Some of our F1 children started the day with a really good mark-making session. Well done for sharing the pens and paper too!

Our new Foundation Stage 2 children have loved getting outside and enjoyed exploring our fabulous outdoor area this week.

Outdoor play has so many developmental benefits. It helps our children to develop self-confidence, independence and self-esteem.
They also become aware of limits, boundaries and challenge in their play.
Our children get the opportunity to develop their social skills by listening, paying attention and sharing play experiences – this helps them explore their feelings and develop self-discipline.

Outdoor is a great time for their physical development too… our climbing wall proved a great challenge, it got us problem solving and using our gross motor skills, working out how to pull and push and where to place our hands and feet can be tricky at times! It also showed how determined our children are, as they tried and tried again until they got to the top, never giving up, well done everyone!
