We had a wonderful surprise visit! Former pupil, Raphael popped into to see us wearing his very special St Johns Ambulance uniform. Not only were we thrilled to see him but we were keen to learn more about what he does with the St John’s Service. Great Work Raphael!

North Ferriby Community Visit
We found another Rat on our Mischief of rats trail then visited the horses during our riverside walk and the park in the village of North Ferriby on this lovely summers day.

Families and Teachers were SOOOOOOO super proud of our HUB students during our Sports Days! Our students demonstrated great determination and resilience as well as an absolutely amazing team spirit for each of our colour houses.

This week we are learning about and celebrating the fact that it is 80 years since VE day!
We discovered what people could grow and eat during the war and this was a popular recipe – Spam Mash!
We followed the recipe and carefully used peelers and knives to prepare the potatoes and onions. The results were delicious, DJ gave it a ten out of five score and Aziz had third helpings! Well done Chefs! Great teamwork!

Wednesday’s Visit to The Humber Bridge Country Park
We saw an artist at work, painting the underpass – it looks brilliant already, we can’t wait to visit again and see the finished work!
VE Day, 80th Anniversary – We worked brilliantly in teams to bake buns for our class party. They were delicious!!! We also made chocolate whirls and ginger bread men but were too busy to snap these before they were eaten. We sure had a lot of pots to wash but it was worth it!
Last Term we won the Panathalon Games in the Hull area – we were so proud! So this week, we competed in the local finals! We played against schools from East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire at Haltemprice Sports Centre. Here are some of the pics from our amazing morning….
