Miss Stainton’s class really enjoyed their afternoon in the pod hunting for QR codes! They were given a Blitz quiz and had to search for the answers using the scanner on the iPads. Lots of excellent teamwork skills were being demonstrated as they worked in pairs and they found out some really interesting things about how Hull was affected during this time period in History!
A big thank you to Jake’s nana for knitting these fabulous snowballs for our

On Monday, eight Y34s took part in the Hull School Games Boccia Championships. Boccia a highly competitive paralympic sport very similar to french boules. This was the first time the children had ever played this game and the first time they have ever represented the school in competitive sport.
Amazingly, out of 23 teams, our team finished 1st and 3rd! The children were VERY excited to find out they have won and it was fantastic to see them having such an enjoyable times.
A huge well done children – lets see what the Y56 competition brings next year!
Our Y34 & 56 Athletics Squad celebrating their win!
CP continued their success in sports hall athletics this year. We have always done very well in this competition and have qualified for the county finals every year for the last five years. This year the competition has been structured in a slightly different way. There were three qualifying rounds with two teams from each going through to the Hull finals which will decide which team represents Hull in the county finals. For the second year, our Y34 and Y56 teams qualified with BOTH teams finishing in 1st place!
We are looking forward to the Hull finals on 15th February and hope to reach the county finals once again!
