Year 6 Wow day

For our year 6 end of English unit, the children dressed up (after writing a letter of persuasion to Mrs Marson) and took part in some fun activities relating to the Day of the Dead. They especially enjoyed making Pan de Meurtos, I hope they taste as good as the look! Everyone looked great!

Year 6 Science

In science we have been looking at the question: Which exercise will increase our heart rates the most. The children were able to choose three different exercises to compare. To keep it a fair test they decided that they should do each activity for 2 minutes before finding and recording their heat beat. In between each activity they let their heart beat get back to a resting beat before starting the next exercise to ensure fairness. We will be comparing our data next lesson and drawing a graph to show and evaluate our results.
