Hi everyone
Here is the home school diary for this week.
I have also attached a screen shot from the Facebook page of the Donkey Sanctuary – the messages are about how good our children were on their trip. It’s lovely to hear this from other members of the public.
Enjoy the weekend

The children in F2 started their Pre-Pedal course this week. They learnt about how to put on a helmet and check the bike to make sure they are safe. They then played a few games on their bikes. The children loved the lesson and said they can’t wait for next week. Well done everyone
Hi everyone
Here is the home school diary for this week.
Have a lovely half term. Keep safe and have fun.
From the F2 team
We invited the grown-ups into school for a bridge building afternoon after we had read the Three Billy Goats Gruff.
Take a look to see if we found any trolls.

Grandad Chicken came to visit us again this year.
I left us the incubator and some eggs. He also left a heat lamp for out pen.
He told us that the chicks will stay in the eggs for 21 days before hatching and they must be kept warm. Just like a mother hen sitting on them.
We were very excited to see what came out of the eggs.
After the weekend we came back to a huge surprise.
8 chicks had hatched.
We couldn’t wait to snuggle them
We learnt about the chicken life cycle.
We also talked about how chicken and eggs are used for food.
We loved learning about the chicks.
We have been reading the book Tad by Benji Davies.
This gave us an idea… we invited some tadpoles to our classroom.
We loved having the tadpoles in the classroom…
We drew them, we painted them, we did frog jigsaws, we made playdough frogs and even sang to them.
We learnt all about how a frog grows and changes.
It’s very different to how humans grow isn’t it!
Look at this huge frog lifecycle we drew outside. We know all about frogs now.
