Thank you to those who were able to attend the F1 Stay & Play this afternoon.
The children loved showing you all that we do in the unit.

Click on the link below to see how the children created fantastic pictures of bears, firstly painting the circular shapes for the face and ears, then, once it was dried, adding details in black pen.

Usually on a Tuesday the children all have the opportunity to butter a slice of toast at snack time. They work hard, trying to spread the butter, developing their fine motor skills. Who would have thought that eating toast could help you learn to write!

Last week we all enjoyed our first ‘I Wonder Wednesday’.

The new children have loved exploring outside, creating games and making friends. A good start to the year ahead.

This week is Sports Week so we have kept that in mind when we created our doodles tonight. The children have attempted a running figure and then ‘doodled’ away into them. The results are looking pretty good!

We’ve had some great levels of concentration again. Well done!

F1 have been having a bit of practise in readiness for Sports Day next week. The children have generally listened carefully to the instructions for each race and everyone has had a go. Well done! Finger crossed the weather stays dry for Tuesday!

It’s been a great day in F1. We have played guessing games and listened to the descriptions of animals. We’ve played outside helping elephants who were stuck in a swamp, looked after trapped animals, followed trails and even looked at some real-life stick insects.

We hope you all have a lovely half term, F1 Staff.
