Our writing focus in English at the moment is ‘balanced arguments’ and Year 6 have been enjoying to opportunity to consider positives and negatives relating to a range of topics. We have also had the opportunity to take part in verbal debates and the children were fantastic at voicing their opinions and backing up their arguments with evidence and statistics to help justify their viewpoints.
