This term, the children in Year 3 have been talking about their own family dynamics and sharing their feelings of how being part of, as well as belonging to a family makes them feel. Loved…Happy…Safe…Wanted…Valued…Respected were some of the word which came up most often in our shared discussions. We also shared our understanding that whilst our own family dynamics may be different with those of our peers, that family it is about having people in your life who care for you, love you, help you and keep you safe that matters the most. From this we went on to identify some of the other groups that we belong to that are similar to a family because the people that lead these significant groups care for us, help us and want us to be the best that we can be:
School…Breakfast Club…Dance Classes…Football Teams…Gymnastics Club…Martial Art Groups…Brownies…Cricket Club
