Lately, the year 6 classes have been looking at their new science topic: light. This week we learnt that light must travel in a straight line. We know in order to see objects, light must reflect off them and goes into our eyes to be focused by the lens and then the retina turns this information into brain signals which are sent to our brain through the optic nerve. We looked at a variety of light sources and how to categorise them.
