The children have really been enjoying our book ‘Holes’ by Louis Sachar. This week we have been delving into the vocabulary that is in chapters 16-19. The children played a matching game to see if they could match the definition with the root words. Also they have been trying to beat their own personalised scores and partners through speedy reads.
