Today, Year 5 visited Sirius Academy and worked in one of their Design and Technology cooking rooms. We watched a demonstration from one of the Sirius teachers and then began to make our own pancakes. We mesaured out our own ingridients, whisked them together, put the batter in the frying pan and then flipped our pancakes to cook the other side. Once they were ready, we added toppings, such as chocolate sauce, blueberries, strawberries and whipped cream. They were delicious! The teachers from Sirius then chose four children, who had worked incredibly hard and made super pancakes. Well done to Grace, Hennley, Alesha and Tommie, who were the winners!
