Year 1 are learning how to become historians – we have looked at what ‘history’ is and even got to see a VERY old photograph of Mrs Yardley to help us to begin to understand chronology!

We have been using sources of evidence to identify things that are from the past and things that are from the present – we looked at photographs and paintings and had fantastic discussions with our classmates about why and how we categorised the sources we looked at.
