Mini Visit

We had a great time this afternoon at the Humber Bridge Viewing area.

We sketched the bridge…

We learned about it being a suspension bridge and talked about how it was built. George was able to tell us all about the buoys in the river and how they prevent the boats from being stuck in the shallow, sandy waters.

We learned about the brave rescue team that use lifeboats based below the Humber Bridge to rescue anyone in trouble in the river.

We found Banksy Style art beside Humber Rescue too!

And of course, we couldn’t leave before we had fun with our friends in the park! Especially after all of our hard work this term!
