When the children came back from dinner they were very shocked to find their classroom in a state!
Somebody had sneaked into the classroom whilst they were out and made a terrible mess! Porridge everywhere, a broken chair, spoons and bowls on the floor! Mrs Buss had taped the area up and declared it an ‘investigation!’ None of the children owned up to making such a mess but they had some ideas of who it could have been!
After reading this weeks story they suspected that the culprit could have been none other than Goldilocks herself and decided they needed to find her so that she could say sorry and tidy up the mess! The children made some fantastic wanted posters to put up around the classroom and went on a very exciting hunt to find the golden girl! They spotted lots of clues and a very identical suspect walking past our school gates….
A lovely activity exploring the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ working on communication and language through paired talk and discussion and fine motor skills!
