Large body parts

During our PE lessons in Year 1 we have been finding out which are our large body parts.

We found out our bottoms, back, sides and stomach were all the large parts of our body.

We had lots of fun moving around the hall using the different big parts of our bodies. Some of us shuffled on our bottoms, some of us wriggled on our stomachs or backs and some of us rolled using our stomach, side and back.

We also had a chance to move across equipment using our big body parts.

We moved across the benches carefully using only theses parts of our bodies. We watched each other and celebrated each others accomplishments as gymnasts as we reached the other end of the bench.

Y56 Girls Qualify for finals!

Tonight was our first girls football game since early 2020! What a fantastic return they had with a thrilling game against a strong Francis Askew team. The girls started strong and quickly went up 1-0. In the final moments our girls were leading 3-2 when FA seized their chance and drew scores level just before the whistle. The girls held their nerves and eventually won on penalties!

Well done girls!

Confident win against Francis Askew

Tonight was our first competitive football game in 580 days! After a long long wait the boys finally got to play for their school and what a fantastic job they did too!

Each player was making his debut in the first away fixture of the 7-aside league to Francis Askew Primary. The boys got off to a flying start with and early goal from Tinashe and a few minutes later he bagged his second. Some strong possession in midfield saw goals follow from Lucas, Jack and finally Kacper. An all round strong performance and great was to kick start the year. Well done boys.
