FITBIT Challange

We were very excited to launch our Fitbit challenge today at Christopher Pickering Primary School. We are a Tigers Trust partner school and the challenge has been funded by the Tigers Trust and The Premier League.

Each KS2 will be given a Fitbit to be worn in school, for a week. There will be a weekly leader board to show which class has completed the most steps. We are hoping this will encourage all KS2 classes to be active throughout the school day, as we are aware of the benefits of a healthy active day! Hopefully all classes will have fun encouraging the person wearing the Fitbit to get the steps in!!

Thanks again to The Tigers Trust!

Hull FC launch our Sports Week

A lovely start to our Sports Week at Christopher Pickering. We had our Black and white day, and all of the children came dressed in Black and White. Each child took part in a Hull FC coaching session, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We also had a fun assembly by Coach Rich and Sam, who explained how our school is similar to Hull FC! Some of even took part in an active challenge during our assembly. This all linked to Hull Schools Stand Up Event. Thanks to Hull FC for a fabulous day.

Rugby Training

FS2 loved taking part in the Hull FC rugby training today, as part of our launch to Sports week. They really enjoyed the black and white day and enjoyed being on their feet for most of the day as part of #hullschoolsstandup

Mini Trip 5

Another lovely trip to Bridgehead this lunch time. We even discovered a new part of the woodland with lots of fabulous art for us to see!

Here are the lovely 7 children who had fun finding animal habitats during our stroll through the woods.
