Today, F1 have been painting owls.  We’ve started off by painting the shapes we wanted, then filling them in with lots of paint…

Whilst the paint has been wet, we have then made ‘zig-zag’ marks onto the owl’s tummies so that it looked a bit feathery…

Finally, we added glue and feathery wings, a beak and it’s talons…

Once the owls are dry, we are going to add yellowy-orange eyes.

Our owl painting has also inspired a bit of flying, as well as tree building (so that the owls can build their nests).  A great day in F1!
