Over the past two weeks Year 3 have been discussing how we would like our school to be.

We had Jigsaw Jino to help us. We discussed what types of things would happen in a nightmare school and how these things would make us feel if they happened in our own school.

We talked about rubbish being all over and the school being dirty, children hurting each other and if there was broken equipment. Nobody wanted to be in a school like this and we discussed how we look after our school to make sure non of these things happen. We then       drew a picture of our nightmare school and the bad things that may be in it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This week we have discussed what our dream school may be like.

Jigsaw Jino came to help us again. We discussed how having nice things such as computers and nice books make a good school. That kind, helpful teachers and children who are friends make a school a nice place to be.

Again we discussed how we could make this happen in our school. We talked about the responsibilities we have and how our school golden rules help us to have a nice school. Things like looking after equipment, keeping our hands and feet to ourselves and being kind makes our school a nice place to come everyday. We the drew our dream school next to our nightmare school and talked about which one we like the most and why.
