This week in Y1 we are learning about making equal groups – We know that equal means the same as.

We used paper plates as our groups and put a certain amount of objects into each group, making sure they were equal, we then moved onto drawing groups and the objects. By the end of the lesson we were all very confident with recognising equal and unequal groups and were able to discuss what we could see.
